I have the cyril Salter Lavender soap and really enjoy the scent.

The only DRH soap I don't have is lavender, but I'm wondering how close these two are in scent.

If anyone here has used both, I would appreciate a comparison of the scents.

The difference for me is that the Salter is a more of a flowery/powdery lavender with maybe some tonka.

The Harris has some lime to my nose, which I smell every time. Not very flowery or powdery. Very linear, not much depth (doesn't make it bad, just consistent).

Both are pretty unisex, but the Harris leans less feminine on the scale.

I like both.

Well I think there's enough difference between the two for me to add the DRH lavender to my den. I do like the sound of it!

I find the cyril Salter to be more like a sharp lavender with a balsamic note. Quite masculine!

Interesting, I find the scent of the Salter to be very soft.

I found OSP lavender and mystic water Jeff's lavender both to be fairly soft scented.

The Cyril I find to be fairly masculine, even if it is fairly subtle (which I like).

I like them both, I think you'll be happy with it.
