They make more noise than other blades I've tried; it's rare for me to get any audible feedback from the area under my jaw, but I do with these. Thicker, perhaps? Anyway, it's helpful for judging angles. And I can get a very good shave if I go very slowly, particularly when cutting at all against the grain.

For a couple of days. By the 3rd day, I get a bit of razor burn, and the 4th was not particularly pleasant. I won't be continuing with these...
