More floral than I care for. It became my wife's soap where it fit very nicely. Killed it today.

This is the first of a few soaps I hope to finish in 2019. I am certainly going to miss this one as the scent pairs very well with two of my favorite aftershaves...CL Gratiot League Square and PAA King R Emporium. This soap will go in the "need to buy another" category. But that "need" likely won't come for several more years.

BTW, for anyone who is curious, the soap lasted for approximately 28 shaves (I may have missed one or two counts though). I'm sure someone could get many more shaves than that from a MW soap, but I tend to load heavy and use more soap than necessary.

Wow, that’s about 4 grams per shave. Most of the time, I use 1.5–2.5 grams of soap per shave*, but when it comes to Mystic Water Soap, I think you are on to something. That soap really rewards the shaver who has patience when loading.

* I’m trying to increase this amount – to get even better shaves, and to use more of the mountain of soap that I have.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I finished a few things in the past week:

The Barrister's Reserve Cool set was excellent!  The aftershave lasted longer than the soap as I used it after other shaving soaps as well.  This was the 2nd full size soap I've ever finished.  Happy

The AOS Lemon SC was something I picked up at the local TJ Maxx.  The cream performed well and being scented with lemon essential oil it smelled very natural, but I would never pay full retail for this shaving cream.  Besides, I usually prefer shaving soaps over creams.

Took a long time to kill this one! Light scent that was very pleasant. Discontinued so no need to worry about whether to replace it or not.
