That right there makes me believe creams don't go bad. Smile

The lid sure went bad through; two or three of these tubes have had cracked lids. Also I think these old Coates creams still had preservatives - I had to toss a tub of croap that didn't have any preservatives and went rancid.

That so many modern creams have removed preservatives would make me strongly advise against stocking up on more than a year's worth of cream.

Yeah, I've had some very old tubes of SC that remained perfect until I could get through them. Creams in tubs get hard, but they're still usable.

My wife gets credit for this one. I only used it a handful of times:

Finished an unidentified soap in an Old Spice Mug. One of the downsides of having a lot of stuff is that sometimes things like this happen.

It was probably a tallow soap, and I think it may have been original vintage OS soap. It performed excellently all the way until it was done. It had no remaining scent by the end.

I don't know if I can replace it, since I don't know what it was. I would if I could, though. Big Grin

Yohann, I have a vintage Old Spice soap in its mug. I got it as NOS on eBay and its scent was long gone but its performance was, and is, superb so it is quite possible that what you had could have been original Old Spice shaving soap.
