I have noticed that my face has not been able to handle my favorite blades recently, like Feather and Voskhod. Not sure if its relevent to the frigid New York temps as this has been the coldest winter we've had in a few years.
I find myself enjoying more mild blades like Dorco. The only thing i sometimes intentionally change is using a balm vs splash. These extra cold days require a little more face protection while im shoveling, so balm it is! I'll try the more aggressive blades again when it gets warmer and report back.

Mind you I live in deep south Texas where we only have two seasons, summer and summer lite, but, since I only cold-water shave, I never really notice a difference in shave when the temperature (rarely) drops...now I do up the moisturizer when it gets colder as my skin is very prone to drying, but that's about the only change to my routine.

I have posted this before. I've always had oily skin generally until this winter. My skin is dry this winter. I have rosacea as well and I believe this leads to dramatic changes to my skin. Anyway, about ~1.5-2.0 months ago, I was having a terrible time with my shaves. Lots of irritation and even some nicks(i hadn't had a nick in forever until this!) Well, I was still doing my usual jump around to this soap and that soap(I have a few shaving soaps. ) It wasn't until Matthew(Matsilainen) suggested that I go back to Mike's Natural Soaps for something a little more moisturizing. After I tried going back to Mike's for a while and started using a moisturizer, my shaves have gotten much more comfortable.
Now I'm using a nice little Gillette Gold Tech that I picked up a while back along with Mystic Water or Mike's Natural shaving soaps and a good moisturizer post shave. My face is much happier! I can return to my fickle ways with soaps, razors, and blades after Southwestern New York State comes out of the deep freeze and Spring approaches!
I do owe thanks to Matthew for his voice of reason!

I shaved with a feather as-d2 and a brand new feather blade 2 days ago. I forgot just how mild this razor is - I didn't even feel the blade on my skin, especially compared to the ikon tech & muhle r41.. I have a few spots of irritation so I'm going to give it a few more tries to see how it goes.

I understand how you may miss some variety, but thankfully, just between Mike’s and Mystic Water, you probably have at least 50 scents to choose from.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
