I've got few loose ones in the bottom of a drawer from tryablade, but almost all of what I have now are the Personna Platinums (white plastic container/light blue label) that IB's had on sale a lot recently, according to them made in Germany? They pair very well with the Henson.

I think my beard's pretty soft (not in the habit of feeling other men's facial hair, so there's some guesswork involved), so the main concern is avoiding razor burn. It's a good combo for that & I get about 2 weeks/blade without much change in the character of the shave...

I can't remember for sure, but think it was on eBay Canada about 3 months or more ago. If you want an available replacement, try Gillette Minora which are great blades.

I have Minora, Stainless and Platinum. All Gillette blades are good. I rarely use anything but.

Had to buy another 300 blades...Gillettte Minora Stainless.
Dang, these are a great blade. Bought 100 and liked them so much I went back for another 200.
I would buy more but seriously...do I 'need' more?
Will wait 'til end of year (2021) and might just get another 500 then (man can't be too careful when it comes to blade stash).

Once I burned through most of my blade sampler (purchased in late 2016), I pretty much stuck with Astra SP.

Then, after getting a 5-blade tuck in a PIF last year, I bought some Shaverboy blades. I find that they are as good as (and similar in performance and feel to) Astra SPs, but about half the price.

More recently, after getting the Henson AL13/Mild razor I tried a Feather in it. I didn't much care for Feathers in my other vintage and modern razors after 4-5 shaves on a blade, but in the Henson they're great, at least up to my now-standard 12 shaves per blade. I'll probably stock up on a couple more (50) with my next order, just for the Henson.

One odd blade I still have a few of are the Qshave Titanium DE blades that shipped with my Futur clone.
Odd, because on the first shave, they were the best ever of any blade I've tried. Sharp and smooth.
By the 2nd or 3rd shave, they are the worst ever. The last time I tried a 3rd shave with one I stopped in the middle of my first pass and swapped it out for a new Astra SP.

A friend of mine gave me a few tucks of Cloud Bruce Lee blades. Has anyone of you tried them? I believe they're made in China. I tried tons of blades but never “made in China.”
