Do you have a favorite synthetic brush?

Stirling Kong for Head shaves, TGC Synthetic for Face shaves. The Plisson comes in second for both, with my Whipped Dog 24mm lagging behind in third.

As a user of only synthetic brushes, I enjoy the plisson type fibres and the Muhle silvertip fibres the most.

My current favourite is the muhle 23mm knot, perfect size for me with just the right amount of softness with some backbone for face lathering as well as bowl lathering.

My Shave Revolution 24mm synthetic is my favorite brush. As I say often, it's just "easy". It loads in seconds, it lathers in seconds, it feels extraordinary, and it cleans up and dries in seconds.
I own the 26mm Stirling brush and find it just a little too large for my taste. I prefer the 24mm knot on the Shave Rev. Brush.
One brush I am intrigued with is the new chubby with the shorter loft. I think I might enjoy the smaller diameter and lower loft/ more backbone.

I have 3 synthetics:
Maggards 24mm Plisson-style; Omega S-Brush; Crown King Duro.

Of the 3 my favorite is the Maggard's, because it is just so soft and easy to use. My second favorite is the CK Duro, because it has soft tips like the Plisson-style, but has a TON of backbone. It feels and acts more like a boar brush to me with a fair bit of scrub and a stiff backbone.

The one I rarely use is the S-Brush. It's decent, it's soft, and it works, but it is floppy, does not hold water very well, and can be tedious to lather.

Now for the sake of full-disclosure...these are the only 3 synthetic brushes I have ever used. So there's that...

To this day I've almost exclusively used synthetic brushes. I've owned the second generation The Grooming Co synthetic, Stirling 26 and 22 mm brushes, Razorock Plissoft barber handle and the Kent Infinity Silvertex. I've recently purchased the Maggard Synthetic and have to say that it is my favorite so far. All brushes were very good, but the Maggard brush has the perfect handle for me and I like the softness/backbone ratio a lot.

I've owned and used several synthetics in the past few years. Currently, my favorite of them all is the Razorock Monster Plissoft synthetic. It seems to incorporate all of the features I look for. It's a delight to use every day with soap or cream.

I have a maggards 24, whipped dog 24, HIS 24 and a HIS 30----I just bought and used for 1 week a chubby 2 and it blows the first 4 away. No comparision at all .

My favorite Synth is my Fine Accoutrements Stout Angel Hair brush! Great latherer!

About the time this thread was started, I was on a super synthetic kick, and owned or had owned pretty much every synth discussed. (No Maggard, Satin Tip or crown king). Today, I have thinned the herd of them big time, and only three remain: Chubby 2, a Nathan Clark Ubersoft II and a Razorock Plissoft 24mm. They are all a little different in use, and I feel like they pretty much represent the spectrum of what today's synthetics have to offer. They are all excellent brushes, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I am not sure what can be done to improve upon them, unless we can get little badgers to grow plastic hair so that they actually look real.
