I know that the actual fibers on a synthetic brush can't change or soften like say a badger or a boar but do the knots on synthetic brushes relax or loosen a bit over time after use?
The better synthetics from South Korea are actually tapered like natural badger and will even split on the ends producing the hooks people like. if you mean a relaxation of the 'backbone' no.
