A poll that isn't a poll - really.

When Stan announced that all items at Above the Tie were priced to move what did you do?

1 - I made a purchase, but I was going to anyway
2 - I made a purchase, hadn't planned to, but felt compelled to
3- I didn't make a purchase
4- Other

For me ... I did make a purchase and I hadn't really planned to.

I've had several Above the Tie razors in the past, but don't currently have one.   Of the ones I've owned, I think I've liked the slant in a solid bar the best - but I never tried a Windsor.  I had the M, R, and H plates and the aluminum too.

I decided to get an S1 slant Atlas and an inkwell stand

What about you?

I felt no need to buy a razor. I lost the desire after I spent $250 ish on a Rex Ambassador. It was a finely made razor and I felt it was worth the money. However, I could never get enjoyable shaves from it. I ended up selling it here. My other "expensive" razor a Rockwell 6S has been in my possession since they sold for $80. I love that razor and my $60 Razorock Gamechanger. Both have cured me of really wanting anything more expensive.

I have a copper H razor and an aluminum H razor and like them both. I will eventually obtain an S1 slant razor (had one but sold it years ago) but felt no need to rush out to buy anything.

I have an ATT razor from a number of years ago and I find it gives a very, very close shave. A bit too close for me. I still pull it out now and then but it will never be a daily shaver and I’ve never felt the need to get another one.

I got the ATT shortly after getting a Wolfman WR1 mirror polish combination razor (SB/OC). Comparing them I said at the time that the ATT was like a precision tool while the Wolfman was an objets d’art

My SSRH is tied with two others as my favorite razor. I have always been curious to try the bamboo shaped handle, and I could not resist the clearance price. Arrived today.

I need another razor like I need another hole in my head. Thought about it but concluded there was statistically zero chance it would shave better than what I already have so I can leave em for you fellers when need some more.

This was my thought too.

I have (I think) an ATT single edge from 5ish years ago that I didn’t click with. I should let it go.
