We're still on track for October 1st, gents. I'm super excited to get this buggy rolling at last. The finished product is spicy and cider-y; very appropriate for the cooler months. What's more, I've found that, even from the soap, it really hangs on to your skin, so you'll probably smell like it for several hours no matter what (but the aftershave will help!).

Yes, I'd say it's fairly different. It's spicier, for one thing, and there's no smoke or vanilla (which came by way of benzoin) in it.

Sounds really great, too bad my face can't handle cinnamon and clove... , but I am happy to have joined nonetheless.
