DFS Horizons pass around list

The box arrived today, and I was very pleased to experience this wonderful Horizon collaboration. I am unable to provide any sophisticated description of scent. All I can say is the fragrance is unique and delightful. There is no one feature to describe the scent. At the same time it is and it isn't floral, woodsy, fruity, musk, . . . Complex and just plain nice. Would I buy Horizon? Already did    




I am not going to hold on to this too long. I do need to mention the aftershave cap is one of those where if you tighten it and overclock, it is loose again. Unfortunately the nice cloth bag it comes in is saturated, and there was a puddle of that sweet nectar in the ziplock bag Lbkindy was wise enough to pack it in. I will try to find a way to plug the opening before it travels to wyze0ne

I noticed that about the top cap on the aftershave as well - it drove me crazy. I asked Bill if there was a trick to get the cap to fit flush and tight. He said that cap is 2 pieces - the inner plastic part and then the outer sleeve....he said to just put it on, even if it sits slightly uneven, but just don't over tighten it or the cap will free itself.

Sorry about that.  I too noticed the tendency to loose itself again and thought I had found the optimal tightness.

The DFS Horizons set arrived from ewk on Saturday so I've had a couple shaves with it so far. This is a really nice scent that has a lot of complexity. I kept getting this feeling that it smelled very familiar to me then this morning a light bulb went off in my head. To put it in simple terms, the soap smells reminiscent of lemon cake. Strange I know, but that's what my nose came up with lol. The aftershave and EdP bring a slightly different scentscape as expected. All of the products perform well and I did not experience any irritation of any sort. These last two shaves were great!

Reflecting on it, I detected a whiff/reminder of Aqua Velva musk, but in a good way

I'm glad everyone is liking the scent so far!

I guess I should do another scent creation with Joe, eh?

No worries, wasn't blaming you at all! Bag kept it contained from the rest of the box.
