Peter, I must thank you, again, for your amazing and friendly service.  Your shaving soap, after just my first shave, has moved right up there with my other favorites.  I didn't even know about you or your soap until you became a merchant here and a few members sang your praises.  Now I know why.  Hopefully, your soaps will be appreciated by a wide audience.

Sounds like a great soap, but none of those scents really appeal to me. Any plans for other offerings in the future?

I just went to your site to place an order. It seems like everything is sold out. Do you know when your soaps will be back in stock? I'm looking forward to trying them! If there are some available right now, please contact me. I don't know you, but I'm very happy that your business is taking off.

The only soap I see sold out on the site atm is the Orange Patchouli.

Orange Patchouli seems to be the only one sold out because I was just able to order the Lemon Lavender for a friend and I had no trouble doing so.

Hi Peter (Scritchnscrub).  I just noticed on your site that you are having new scents coming soon, with mango seed butter.  A few questions, if I may.

Will your former scents continue to be made?

Has the use of mango seed butter changed the feel/performance of your soaps in any way?  I didn't think your Lemon Lavender could get any better. Big Grin

When will the soaps be available?  I was hoping to send a lavender scented one as a birthday present in early April.

Hi Freddie -

Thanks for your kind post! To answer your questions in order:

I don't have any plans to make the old scents at the moment (with the exception of Mossly Lime which is back by popular demand) but I'm not ruling them out. If there is a strong demand to bring back a scent I'd be happy to accommodate. The Orange Patchouli was popular it seems but I'm replacing it with Patchouli Spritz this time out which has grapefruit instead of orange because I personally prefer that combination at the moment. But we'll see if I'm alone on that. My new Joie de Vetiver is a nice strong scent but even if it's popular, I may not release it very often due to the scarcity/price of Sri Lankan vetiver oil, which I prefer to use. I expect I will usually have a Lavender of some sort on offer.

The mango butter adds a little extra richness to the formula IMHO. As well the tallow has been increased a tiny bit. I think you'd find the feel of the lather virtually the same but I think it's a slightly grippier shave if that makes any sense to you. And I think it's a bit more conditioning.

As far as the release goes, they will be out no later than March 25 and possibly before.

Hope this helps!

Peter
