been active on another forum so know a few names from that one
but always lurk and read here so decided to start some participation Smile

kinda minimalist type personality I tend to only use my favorite thing and if I have more than one or two the others never get used so not a collector !

just for fun kinda where I am now brain dump below :

been at the DE couple years now kinda trying to pair down to a minimal setup one day with a fav 1 or 2 razors
so far the ones that have made the cut are timeless .68 and Wolfman .95 and have a 1.15 which turned out a touch to much for daily for me and my Timeless prefer the .68 OC at this point hte last razor I want to try the timeless .95 and slim plates and for sure the tatara razors and while I want to try the blackland blackbird if the Wolfman 1.15 is to much reckon the blackbird will be to much for me daily so maybe one day but no hurries on that

others I owned just for fun the rex ambassador tears my face up Smile loved the RR GC both 68 and 84 great daily but the wolf and Timeless I prefer other RR like the Lupo to much for my face some of the other RR again nice bang for buck but my top two current are top for a reason ! Henson are great comfy but have this odd drag/suction feel had a few old razors and keeping my dads old Gillette but not a fan of the vintage but appreciate them the Merkur and a few other less expensive just not happy with build quality the Yates has been great and a few others that did the job but nothing again like the top two Smile
I do think it gets to the point they all work its just what we like kinda like how one likes their steak cooked and what type of steak ! still came from the same cow hahahaha

blades kinda down to Green 7 Oclock and Permasharp, maybe Wizamet iridium, a few others but again tried about 40+ blades and just want a top 3 and always some Shark around since I just love the label also I used to teach diving and lead shark dives for a good part of my life !

brushes have not gone to deep yet bought a synthetic and did not like it so bought a RR Plissoft and Semogue OC badger (the about $80 one) and a Omega boar
out of that loved the RR till I got the RV Muhle that blows it away ! so the Semogue and the RV Muhle are my fav with the later now being my newest and fav and plan to dive much more into the brushes once I finalize my razors and blades and soaps more to find that favorite couple brushes whatever that might be Synthetic or badger or a fav of each ?

soaps I love SV being my #1 soap and finding my #2 still but have tried quite a few maybe 20+ soaps ? battling out for #2 so far are Ethos and Spearhead seaforth, Caties Bubbles, MDC, kinda want to try Boellis and ABC (Antica Barberia Colla) but tried enough others I am good to just narrow these last one downs but never say never Smile

love the Neutrogena Hydro gel and found it makes every splash great post feel so loving the good old Old Spice or the Pinaud and a few others so reckon will have a few various splashes to play with and have some nice artisan ones that are awesome BUT the Neutrogena for me just balances out the cheap to be just as good so will end up with just a few in the long run and put some money into EDP/EDT instead of fancy AS

now at 59 never was into any kinda stuff like this but floving the shave routine now and like many never thought I would enjoy shaving ! before this it was a pain like actual ouch pain and no fun ! now I look forward to it every day

Also I had a .68 OC Timeless and the 95 is much smoother to me. Seems crazy but how it felt to me Happy2
