This TGN knot is becoming a fast favorite! And I notice my photos are not conveying the true color of the Coho handle. In my mind's eye, it is greyish silver, but on my monitor is looks to be darker. The photo from yesterday captured the color better.

I hear you, forget the color you are saying, tell us about the shave! Well, it was a humdinger (which is probably a notch or two below the Fluffy  Skippy level! I moved the Proguard back to the Hawk, and almost had a bloodletting as I was getting carried away with the smooth, effortless shave!

Loving your photos these days Eric! Very cool.

Zenith unbleached with a velcro strap which reduces the loft by about 12mm. I much prefer this iteration over the original.

Got home at 8:05 and 1st thing I did was set the knot from Eric that came in the mail today. Done t at 8:10. If it doesn't shed ridiculously we'll be Stirling handle and replacement twin boar Twinsies. I didn't know it was a flat top but we'll give it a go.

Razor: Karve CB D
Blade: Personna Platinum
Brush: Omega 49
Soap: B&M O Delight!

A nice soap lightly scented like a pudding, or a sugarless fig newton. Nice, but "delight!" might be too strong a name.

Between the handle design and the flat top, that thing screams 1950's retro. Very cool looking. If it performs without shedding, it'll be an awesome addition to the brush corral.

A sugarless Fig Newton. Lol. That definitely wouldn't fall in the category of 'delight' for me either.

That has Orange in the scent notes? I so want to love orange, but I fond all of the soaps I try with that note aren't appealing.

I do not get anything orange or citrus from it. Moderate unsweetened dried fruit "scent" like raisin/date.

The Nano made it safely to Maine and had its first (tentative) use this morning. I don't think the photo captures it well, but the head is HUGE in my eyes! Ken nicely put a fresh blade in for me and had the 1 dot plate attached (milder). I did the WTG pass only, then used the Hawk with the Protouch for that blade's 6th use. And while the head seemed large (anyone else here Mike Meyers in their head, yelling "Head, down, now. His head is so big it has its own weather!" from So I Married an Axe Murderer?!), it did work under my nasal appendage very well!

The brush is a Shave Forge boar in an AP Shave Co black handle. I loaded for a minute, added one more "tip dip" of water than I thought was prudent, and had a wonderful lather!

Hope all are well!
