I really enjoy and look forward to you introducing me to soaps and other products I have never heard of before.

Thank you very much! It makes me happy when I can make someone else happier!

It finally arrived on the slow boat from China:
It weighs a ton and has a very transformer/switch blade feel to it. All of the pivot joints are loose and rattle so I don't know how it will shave. The head is held onto the base plate by magnets in both the head and the base plate but they are not strong.
I guess that it is for use in the "forest"?
TSA would definitely have a brain hemorrhage if you tried to carry this thing on board.
Oh well.......

Well, everything I've heard, but not yet tested by myself: You get a really good shave for what it is. The blades and head are supposed to stay where they're supposed to be. But I'll find out in the first week of January when we visit my in-laws.
I had checked with Swiss International Airlines and they are okay with taking it on the plane as long as there is no blade loaded.
The December seems to end as luckily as it started with the delivery of the remaining Simpson brushes I had ordered.
