Nice mellow shave Dave. Wish it was shout out to him rather than a tribute. Have a good Monday buddy.

Did you feel the strange change in the gravitational pull ? Yep, me too. To be safe I grabbed my Techmatic Razor that generally just sits. Hey if it was safe enough for the Astronauts like Mike Collins of Apollo 11, it's safe enough for me. Safe enough and a decent shave but feels bulky and cheap. Still a cool piece of history to use once in a Blue Moon...........see what I did there. For those that don't know it's a band razor meaning it has a blade in a spooled band that when it gets dull, you just turn the knob to advance the blade to a fresh and sharper spot on the band. This model also has the adjustment knob for aggression which I just stick in the middle (Sorry Fuzzy) and roll with it. It isn't an aggressive razor by any stretch of the imagination. Just happens to be where I put it when I got it to see how long it lasts with not needing to advance it. How many shaves so far you ask ? I have no idea as I lost track of the few times I've used it and whether it's 3 or 4. Okay, back to the shelf/drawer or mug it will sit in till next eclipse...........................................time I pull it out. Have a stupid fun day Everyone !

Not near the quality restore as TobyC 's or others but I got tired of the ever shedding knot and was putting a new boar in the Williams brush, so moved that synthetic knot to this Klenzo and a little white lettering and stain. Was a quick getrdone job. Not much sanding or getting the lettering deeper to accept the white paint and no polishing but I'm happy with it.

I'm still waiting on the knot choices to arrive for TDSoTM Brush MaineYooper

Nicely done! I like how the letter looks, it now stands out and yet looks "old and worn" at the same time.
