Thanks Gentlemen, snow day today on top of the flooding in the area. Expecting a modest 3-5 inches and a arctic bump down in temps. Coldest will be Thursday Night into Fri Morning getting near zero before a slight warming back to near normal temps. Time to accomplish things around the house.....

Good morning Dave. How do you like the Stando razor? Curios to get your thoughts. Don't see that one too often in Sotd's. Hope all is well.

Man, snow on top of flooding, and now single digits. From past posts, I am very glad you are living on higher ground (based on photos you've posted. I hope that is true!). My Grandma used to call single digit or below temps "nose sticking" temps, because when you breath in through your nose, your nostrils stick together!! Or as she would say, your nose sticks together! When I left work last night after 8pm, it was 7F above, but wind chill was -7F! I felt like the parking lot was getting longer as I was walking to the associate parking (always the furthest from the doors, for customer satisfaction, don't you know!)

Oh I'm not trying to one up you! Single digits and wind just seep into my bones and make me miserable. I don't recall that feeling as a youth, and as a kid, boy, we were out in the snow in Upper Michigan as much as we could be. The only times I remember being discomforted was with wet mittens or snow in your boats or down your back! But kids are odd little humans, to say the least, ha ha!

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 2,297

So this is another razor of the 5 on loan to experience and a great experience it was. I guess from my poor memory of what I thought I had read back in the day that it was an aggressive razor was in error. I found it a great smooth shaver but not the most efficient. While I wouldn't call it mindless, it was intuitive. It is a heavy razor and slightly head heavy but manageable. It felt comfortable enough that once I realized I was overdue to remove the hair on the back of my neck, I put the extra leftover lather to use there and cleaned things up with the Tradere. Enjoy your shaves everyone !
