Thanks guys and I get the creepy label art which isn't my thing but after reading Will's goal with the scent I chose to view it differently. Here's his thoughts:
Barrister and Mann Passiflora Shaving Soap is a limited edition production that aims to break the stereotype that fruity fragrances are not manly enough for wet shaving. The soap is an elegant, sophisticated, and spicy fougère fragrance that combines the green soapiness of galbanum oil with cinnamon, bergamot, rose, geranium, lavender, and tonka bean. The fragrance is topped off with a tangy, slightly acidic passion fruit accord that gives it a distinguished and modern edge. Passiflora is a scent that challenges the status quo and shows that fruit can indeed be manly.
So I took it as the fruit was dripping at the heart of his inspiration to make it manly. Anyway, that's how I wrapped my mind around it after it was gifted to me and it was a somewhat "rose" scent I could live with.
MaineYooper The brush pairing and knot are original so paired well unless you meant pairing with the other shaving gear. Got the 3 Stirling brushes recently on BST (Badger, Boar and Synthetic) so I wouldn't have to reknot the one from Mike and Paul perhaps. May even repif that one now. Have a great day guys !
