3:30 am shave tomorrow for an early day, so posting now.......

EDIT - I have to say I used the + Plate again and just had the most amazing shave. Also yesterdays shave lasted easily 12 hours. I plan on using the ++ Plate to experience it but could easily enjoy this Plate. Smooth and Comfortable is an Understatement. I wish we could see what the Machined Finish looks like in person to know if the Basic Polish is necessary if you don't mind non-polished or if it is jagged as we have seen from some makers. THIS razor is so worth the wait to try !!

Does GTB match the Panama 1924 ? NO.........................and I don't care  Tongue I am filling in for a friend and I'm a paid Chauffeur today and want to share the Ghost Town Barber goodness with an elderly Gentlemen of means as he goes to his Doctors appointment. He can thank me later  Big Grin Yes TommyCarioca It was a great shave with the soap and I'm glad I got it based on your nudging  Winking On to the razor. Decided to go with the ++ plate today. While you can feel the extra .5 in blade exposure, it by no means is uncomfortable. Still a smooth and drama free shave but more exfoliating of skin cells. Man I feel clean and smooth. Now I'm unsure which I would prefer between the + and ++ Plates. Being a daily shaver I may lean towards the + but they are both so comfortable.......Well since I'm daydreaming I'll just get both.  May do a video comparison between this and the WR3 I have on loan tomorrow. Everyone have a great day and drive safe !!

Last shave with the Vestige and sad to let go of it but the Show Pass Around must go on ! I'm impressed with the tolerances and build quality. This really makes the Gem SS Blade comfortable and shine with it's rigid blade strength that shines especially on the ATG pass. I appreciate the design/flow of the handle but really feel it needs more grip in the area you hold. Never dropped it but it was a constant thought that it felt slick. I would probably opt for the machined finish and just get the head with the + or ++ Plate or Both Plates with a Cap and use a different handle but that's just me. I want to thank Augustin for providing this pass around which I think will open more eyes to the Gem format blade and cornbread for Hosting the Pass Around. Cleaning and shipping to rocket tomorrow since there's a Postal Holiday today. Time for us Laborers to go to work on Labor Day Big Grin

2nd shave with the Salient and yes this is a close and efficient shaver while being smooth as well. Yes it could be a daily driver for me and will be as I will be getting one. I wish the handle had more grip. Never felt I would drop the razor completely but felt it slid in my hand slowly at times until it hit an area with contours. Still a great razor by Andy at Paradigm Shaveware . Thanks Mike dtownvino for sponsoring this Pass Around. Razor will be mailed to Frank Dragonsbeard probably today to get the pass moving along to others. Have a great day Everyone !!
