Thanks as always for walking through the operation of these type of vintage razors. And congratulations on the upcoming anniversary! (and celebratory razor)

Thanks for watching as I just enjoy sharing these old things. On that topic I might as well share a razor that my brother from Pennsylvania brought to me he was going through things from my Uncle's estate that was very close to me and my motorcycle riding partner. He came across a razor and asked if I would be interested in it. Just the fact that it was Uncle Dave's was an immediate yes and I'll see if I can clean it up. Just a hot water and toothbrush scrub and then a little polishing paste and about 10 to 15 minutes. The following are some before and after pictures of a W1 super adjustable that was my Uncle's and will be cherished. Eight shots showing four before and four Afters.

So I saw one of these razors for sale in the BST yesterday and thought I'd pull mine out for it's typical close and nice shave. The Bulldog was 1st advertised in 1914 and so that's what the date code charts that some have made show as when it was introduced. Mine is a 1912 date code (C133689) and the handle is attached to the head on these and appears all original as in the tube gives zero indication it was changed by anyone so it is a mystery to me. It could be that the light stamp is actually a G instead of a C but it certainly looks like a C. All I know is I got a great shave with it this morning and off to an early start and hopefully end of a work day. Take care everyone !
