But I guess I may be in the minority.
Could never warm to using a phone to read or for long engagement with films, music etc.
Chromebook at home and phone when working but never cared for and don't use Tapatalk..........
I thought I was the only one who didn’t care for Tapatalk. I never cared for its look and using it, for me, a total non techie, was cumbersome. The fact that so many like and use it just goes to show that it’s great that we have several options.

A few of the nicer features:
- Automatically fetches all your PM's across all the different forums and puts them in a mail inbox
- Uploads up to 9 images at once in high quality
- Organizes whatever sections of each forum you want to follow
- Has a topic feed on the main screen of all the recent/hot topics across all your followed forums/sections
It's worth noting that I do pay $1 per month for the "Premium" version of Tapatalk
That is exactly my point. While everything you mention is good, I don't need all of that. DFS is the only forum I'm on. I don't know when I would need to upload more than a couple of images at a time. Again, only one forum for me so already organized to my liking and the list of recent/hot topics easily found on the site itself.
Another thing to consider is that I tend to look at DFS almost exclusively on my desktop or, if I'm at the coffeeshop, my iPad Mini. The very small screen and layout of the site on a phone just annoys me so I tend to use my phone only when other ways cannot be used, which is rare. Others, such as yourself are either running a business and/or follow several forums and in those cases something like Tapatalk definitely makes sense.
Thanks for bringing up all the positive things about Tapatalk, by the way, as it might help others looking for what you have described here.
