Despite my disclaimer above, I felt compelled to try these. My first shave yesterday with one of the blades was quite impressive, very smooth and easy. Today's shave was just slightly rough for some reason, but the end result was the same. I suspect that I won't use one past around 6 shaves.

The third shave this morning was quite smooth, like the first one. I am beginning to think that this blade's smoothness is more dependent on the particular razor being used than that of the vintage blades I usually use.
