Corgi Spitifre 1:38 Diecast Special Edition

Here is Corgi 1:32 AA33902 Supermarine Spitfire Mk 1 Battle of Britain Brian Lane. 
Gorgeous model and in excellent condition; no issues with it.  Slight shelf wear in the box.  All parts are included; removable gun panels, removable cowling, retractable landing gear, flaps and moving rudder.  
As stated in the box by the manufacturer (Corgi), the model is battled scarred, and features weathering, as can be seen in the paint finish; this is normal, and the way the model was issued by Corgi.

I’m delighted to have this in my collection and I’m a huge fan of Spitifires as my fav ww2 Bird.

Of course it’s really fun and sometime can be $$$ but it’s worth it..

P-51 was difficult to fly. But if you could fly it safely it was a hoot from what I have heard. I never got into models. They were white plastic and you needed to paint on your own. Yours looks cool.

I saw a guy the other day with a huge monstrous truck outside of which was a tiny stainless steel water dish. He had a toy corgi. When I see aggressive driving from a truck I am going to think of a cute little dog.

The roundel above the wings was different from that of the fuselage, in that it did not carry the yellow band around it. The yellow band in the fuselage was for easier friend to friend identification. The yellow band was also added at some point, to the roundel under the black wing only, when port wings were painted in black during Dunkirk and the early stages of the Battle of Britain. Later on, the yellow band was moved to the fuselage. Hope this answers your question.
