Clearly durability is, at least partly luck. Don’t get hurt, but there’s also the mental strength to do what’s necessary to overcome injuries and setbacks and keep moving forward. I have to admit, Tom Brady is inspirational, especially to us old guys.  I think getting to bed by 8pm is a big part of his success  Happy2

No. The line goes, "The older the Bull, the stiffer the horn".

I love this graphic. Mahommes covered around 450 yards total after the snap, Brady around 37 yards.

Not sure the Chiefs defense has any excuse, but I feel sorry for Mahomes and the OL. Two key injuries / position shifts on the OL against the Bucs D-line? That was never going to end pretty. Between that and Mahomes' concussion (ahem, sorry, "pinched nerve"), in retrospect this outcome isn't that surprising, at least in terms of offensive output.

Really nice to see Brady and Gronk get another ring. I think Belichick is awesome -- the discussion on greatness does not need to be binary -- but it's nice to see Brady being able to put the "system quarterback" insults to bed.

Fourth generation Tampa native here. Been going to Bucs games since I was a five-year old in 1976...season #1! I was there in person for our first SB win in San Diego in 2003....enjoyed last night’s win watching with family and friends on the big screen TV. Tampa is celebrating. I can’t imagine how much crazier the city would have been if not for Covid.
