The lovely ML and I attended the Commonwealth Pen Show today.
It was in a larger room than the last 3 years. That is good for the show and good for the hobby.
This is the crowd
ML looking at a pen that she eventually purchased.
Our haul. The two pads of Rhodia are for me. Yesterday I spent too much cash at a sportsmans show
ML's 3 new Pens.
A Waterman "Necklace" pen from approximately 1920s.
A Laban Rainbow Mother of Pearl in Blue.
And a Grifos "Fleur de Lis".
This is an Italian made pen. We had never heard of them. The pen is exquisite in real life. Beautifully balanced and writes like a dream.
A Levenger no longer produced pen display case.
It is a glass fronted frame. The pen holder portion drops write in.
Also in this picture are two small bottles of ink. One is a CPS commemorative ink given out free by Noodlers Inks. It is called Boston Brahim Blue and was created just for the 2017 CPS.
The other ink is Iroshisuki Yamu Boda in a small size. The bottle is as classy as the full size bottkes.
This is the case filled with some of ML's pens.
It does look nice. ML stated it looked boring with all blue pens. AS "Blue" is the only criteria for ML to purchase a pen this is not surprising. I wisely did not mention this to ML
