Really happy with this purchase. Making me think I should try the Yates razor

For those that have done some additional polishing on this, has it changed the “suction” feeling at all?

I’m continuing to get close shaves with this, and I’ve found that it tends to do particularly well compared to other razors at going against the grain in areas that I tend to get irritation when I try that (under my jawline and along it), in terms of getting close but not giving me irritation that I normally would.

I could not resist as I am a big fan of Yates. I have two shaves in with the Winning. Intuitive, "safe," comfortable razor that really delivers an efficient shave. Quick 3 passes on the face with no touch ups leave me with a DFS ++ shave.

It's sharp and it cuts. I like it...
Northeast, USA
Just a real good shave this morning with the Winning razor. Paired it again with a Feather and 2 days growth gone in 3 ho-hum passes. Irritation? Nothing. Weepers? Nada. Nics or cuts? Zilch. BBS? Oh Yeah. Yes, I know that it feels like a Hoover running around your face with the pet hair attachment but, the results don’t lie on the quality shave that it gives shave after shave after shave. Think about it. A stainless steel alloy razor for under $50 US that gives one an easy and quite comfortable shave? Name me ONE that delivers this good a shave at the same price point and made of the same alloy as the Winning Razor. No, the Mamba .70 scratch & dent doesn’t count ($39.99 by the way as of this past Friday - great deal).

It’s a banger, gents…..
