Blackland SS Blackbird Razor Stonewashed by Jake Yates, with Satin Stand, in Box, presents as New.

Also for sale on eBay (with more pictures) at a higher price.  Stand is Satin, not Stonewashed.

Yes.  I don't think you can stonewash titanium.

As a matter of fact they do offer Titanium Stonewashed so that is why I asked!!

As a matter of fact they do offer Titanium Stonewashed so that is why I asked!!

I think you are mistaken.  Blackland offers a bead blasted Satin finish on both their SS & Ti razors.  They do not offer a stonewashed finish on any of their razors.  Unless I'm mistaken Jake Yates (Yates Precision Mfg) offered the first stonewashed razors; a process that has been done to knives for some while.  Again, unless I'm mistaken only a ferrous metal can be effectively stonewashed.

I never said Blackland offered the finish....Yates offers it which is why I asked originally if the razor and stand was SS or Titanium!! Go check out his BYOR section...

It turns out you're right muzichead, titanium can be stonewashed.  I stand corrected.
