Dear Fellow DFShavers,

I would like to offload most of my shaving soap (and some AS) collection. That includes over 100 containers ranging from rare vintage to the contemporary discontinued to the most recent. Most of those are either unused or new. I would like to move it as a LOT and therefore would appreciate only committed collectors    to reach out.

Dear Mods,

I hope this post does not break the DFS rules. If you think otherwise, please let me know how I could re-phrase it to convey my message.

Thank you,
Alex

PS. I will provide a “bulk” photo of the collection by the end of tomorrow.

Alex it would be easier if you post a list ofbsoaps, qty remaining and expected price so that interested people may reach you.

Tbh 100 soaps is too much for anyone to buy upfront. Smaller lots of 10-15 may pique interest of many. My 2 cents.

Thanks

Thank you for the suggestion! It totally makes sense, but unfortunately, I simply don’t have time to develop the list or sell in smaller batches, but I will shortly provide a bulk photo of the collection. I also received a similar advice from the Mods and just removed the option to sell to avoid unnecessary complications. I am not doing it for making profit or even to break even. If for any reason, I will not be able to shape up my post to fully comply with the DFS policies, I will just put the soaps in the long term storage.

Cheers,
Alex

I suggest contacting M&M. They're known to buy entire lots and collections.

Mo is right. I peruse them frequently & have purchased many times. They operate right here in my home town of Flower Mound TX.

M&M is a great idea. I bought from them multiple times and always a good transaction.

Thank you, Gents! I did consider them, but my biggest limiting factor is the time, or more precisely the lack thereof. If I am not mistaken, according to their procedure I will have to provide individual photographs and descriptions of each item. I simply cannot do it.

Thanks again for being so great and patient, Gents! Once I assembled all the soaps and some aftershaves, I clearly realized that I will not be able to offload this bunch as a LOT. So, I am going to close this posting and will follow your advices and do it in batches.

Stay tuned,
Alex
