How is the mamba?  I never tried a single GC or Mamba model.

The Mamba is very mild. Akin to the Feather, but milder. I use it after aggressive multi pass shaves to guide my skin a break - and with a very sharp blade. It is an effortless roll, but if you are after bbs - tough to get. I polished mine. It looks great, and for me I enjoy it as I am a mild, low gap, low profile, SB razor dude.
