What's the appeal of batch 2 over 1 or 3 gents? Out of curiosity.

B1 is uber soft, hooked gel tips, but not as much backbone.
B2 is super soft, no gel tips, but better backbone. Very well balanced brush!
B3 is less soft, stronger backbone, with more scrub. Better for face lathering.

Sounds like I got in on the correct batch. 3 is a pleasure to use face lathering. Presence and velvet covered backbone.
