blaming the ill's of western states on New Yorkers is a literary devise of humor ( this sauce is made in---NEW YORK CITY! get a rope ) in the same spirit of Woody Allen
commenting culturally California has only given us right turns on the red. We share the same first name, not Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and I did not agree to have a battle. I stand corrected on typing beaded lizard with Gila. I actually did take a biology class from the writer of the classic two volume tome on buzzworms and as you know lived in Scottsdale and worked the mule concession at the canyon two seasons.
There doesn;t have to be a battle. I have nothing against you. It doesn't matter who writes a post that effectively insults an entire subsection of the population, I'm going to say something about it. It doesn't belong here.
A wise man told me a long time ago that if I were required to constantly inform people that what I said was a joke, and meant to be funny, then I should reconsider telling those jokes.
You make a lot of great posts. You also make a lot of bold statements against large groups of people. I have witnessed your posts regarding "unshaved fools", "watchin TEEVEE wrastlin", New Yorkers destroying the Phoenix Basin, and a fair number of other groups of individuals being identified and spoken of with something less than respect in your sentence structure.
I ain't gonna lie...I don't like it. I don't like people that think it is OK to just insult a large group of individuals they have never met, and pass it off as "a joke". It isn't funny. It's demeaning and insulting. Jokes typically have a context that is relateable and understood, not obscure and requiring detailed re-articulation for the humour to be seen.
You post however you want, wherever you want in any manner you want. If I see a response that reeks of stereotypes and insults, I don't have the ability to bite my tongue that hard. It's not a "battle", unless you turn it into a one. You can completely ignore me, and there is no harm. However, if you choose to address me in a manner that is less than respectful as you did with your McDonald's and wrastlin statement, I will respond. You should expect nothing less.
People deserve to be treated with and spoken of with respect, even if you don't have the decency actually respect them...
