Thanks EFDan , I was blown away by how beautiful the razors turned out and from what I can tell from your pictures, your Fatboy would probably be a good candidate for a re-plate. The black rhodium was around $100 I think. I can go back and confirm and then there was some shipping costs but if you're in the US that would be pretty minimal. The drill is basically a little communication initially around what you are considering then you send it off, he lets you know when he gets it and then it goes quiet for a long time until your razor gets tot he front of the que at which point there some more communication and presto. Chris is a really knowledgeable guy but given how many plates he's got spinning there isn't a lot of time for hanging out on forums and chatting. That said, once he's focused on your razor he is very generous with his knowledge and helpful advice. Just a pleasure to deal with unless, of course you happen to be impatient and expect immediate turnaround and so forth - people like that are best going elsewhere.
