As far as I understand, CG new project will let the buyers customize the razor head.
You can customize: "Blade Gap", "Exposure" and "Angle".
Wolfman and Karve have many plates with different blade gaps, but they are coming with corresponding exposure and angle, we can't change them.
I wished I had more blade angle for my WR2 1.55 and Stirling HA. Less exposure for H&S 76P. More blade gap for Paradigm Diamondback.

I found CG project is very nice. Hope he will continue making super cool handles, and he will start making Titanium Razors..

That's an interesting prospect, but I wouldn't have any idea how to design gap/angle/exposure. I know if I like it after I use it, but in terms of designing a custom head I wouldn't know where to begin, nor would I even attempt it.  Rolleyes

I told Brian, “just give me the max gap and exposure you think is possible and I’ll go with it!”.

Feel the same way. I imagine many orders will be incremental like whisker wacker's lvl 2.5.   Looks like CG will have updated lvl 1-3 heads similar to the everyday design as well. It will be possible to get OC again too.

Looks like this is another 3D printing project. Can the printer hold the required tolerances? What about quality of finish? Finish quality has been an issue with previous 3D printed components.

Those are just test blanks from what I would think.

Problem of customization is the knowledge.
First of personal preferences.
Then of tech specs to have the first fullfilled.
... or you'll have to stay at the maker's POV.

As always knowledge is power.
Power to choice.
Consciously.

I'm more intruiged in the new Aluminium project.

My impression of Brian is he is not only an innovator, but an artist. I think his innate creativity will drive him to keep pushing the envelope and come up with new stuff.
