Thank you. I have done both the CG Brass, Karve Brass and General Brass. I just grew tired of keeping the razors polished and shiny. I polish the brass up with metal polish. I used Mass but you could use anything. I then wash the pieces in hot water to clean off any polish etc. Before using the darkening solution I dunked the pieces in rubbing alcohol and placed on a paper towel to dry. I found it worked better to use some shop tweezers to prevent oil from my hands getting on the pieces. For antiquing, I used Rockler Brass Darkening Solution I bought on Amazon. I put the pieces in one by one. Take them out occasionally to see the results. Remove from the solution when it has the finish you desire. Rinse very good in water to stop the process. You can lightly buff the pieces to remove some of the patina on high spots if you want. With use, the patina will be partially removed from the most touched surfaces.
