Has anybody else tried this stuff?

Not that I need it or would get it......I am asking for a friend.

Sandalwood smells good. The other scent does not. It reminds me of a hospital or a bathroom. Slight improvement in my experience. Easier loading. A lot of soap so the price increase isn't as tough. Also goes a long way despite being a croap. The performance is also good. I'd purchase the sandalwood again.

Used Cello classic for the first time in forever last week. Forgot just how good it is for a bargain old school soap

As some of you may know from my Review. I bought a tub of this stuff ($30.00!) and didn't like it.

It works OK but seems to be designed for use with a hot badger brush and a lather bowl. It does not produce the voluminous lather that the classic red does but produces more of a paste. It is slick though. I am no fan of the fragrance. I can see how it would be perfect in a barber shop for the back of someone's neck, but for a relaxed face lather with a boar brush at home the classic works better. It may be that on a cost per shave basis the cost differential disappears, or the new stuff is even cheaper.

I have the Sandalwood. It smells very chemical to me. Not pleasing at all.

I used it today:

Loads easily with a badger hair brush.
