Thanks again all for letting me try these wonderful razors, so far I have tried 3 plates (++, + and regular 316). Only have one more to try, but that one doesnt say anything but C6 so no really sure which one is it.

I think that may be the new "-" plate which is in prototype. Others can confirm.

It is the "-" plate...it was a prototype. Thanks @herbert7890...

Hi all,

Here's the current pass around list for the Carbon razor. This pass around will include 1 handle, 1 top cap and 3 base plates: the original base plate plus 2 new base plates Carbon has designed.

Since there's only 1 razor being passed around, please try to get the razor sent out to the next person via priority mail after 7 days of usage so things move along at a decent pace.

**Please spray the complete razor down with alcohol or something similar before shipping it out to the next person and upon receiving it!**

I have used the “-“ plate for a few weeks now.  Wow, perfect daily driver for me.  Just enough blade feel to guide me along but the right level of exposure and gap to make the morning shave a breeze.  I could easily use this razor for months and not get tired of it.  For me, the minus plate has the perfect specs.  Thank you for making it available.  Now I want the “web” edition.  That looks killer!

Had plenty of daily shaves during this month so far using the minus base plate in stainless and it’s been great with a Kai blade. There has been a few times where for a pass or two I may mix in with the 0.68 base plate. I think I like all the plates but I’m thinking about revisiting the + plate sometime next year.

hey andrewjs18 , I think it will be better for me to switch places with Dave in KY , as I should be receiving the Henson pass around razor soon, and would rather not hold things up by having two razors at once.

Feel free to send it now so that I don't have to wait when it's ready to go. I usually send for the next recipients information as soon as it's coming to me anyway. Not heard anything back from Herbert yet.
