Sorry guys for the lack of updates. I work for a school district that has to go completely virtual due to regulations that the Governor put in place just a few weeks back and have been working non-stop for the past 3 weeks. The razor arrived safely on the 9th and I have had 4 shaves with it so far. I would, however, like to get in one more shave on the ++ baseplate with a couple of days growth on my face so I'm hoping to send it to the next on the list Wednesday or Thursday and then write a review of my time with the razor next weekend when I hopefully will finally get a day off.

We’re back in two weeks and still have no direction from the government. Stay strong brother.

Leadership making decisions on the fly (although not totally their fault). Just about everyone here wishes we would have pushed the start back to Sept 1st but we're barreling ahead with tomorrow as first day. I work in IT and we've prepped over 23,000 Chromebooks for students as well as close to 700 laptops for teachers (that's the project I was heading). As well as trying to implement a new ticketing system. Passed out about 400 Hotspots out of 1000 available for families with no internet. I've worked 17 days straight, never seen anything like this.

LOL, at least my next check should have enough extra to maybe buy a Carbon CX........

Well, I hate to say it, but my first shave was disappointing. My current grail razor is a FOCS. The number 3 carbon plate was both less close and less comfortable. I will try a couple more times over the next few days!

What is a FOCS razor? Sorry not familiar. Whenever someone talks about a grail razor I’m interested to learn more. Thanks

Sorry to hear that. Which plate are you referring to #3 as? And what blade did you use?

Hi all,

Here's the current pass around list for the Carbon razor. This pass around will include 1 handle, 1 top cap and 3 base plates: the original base plate plus 2 new base plates Carbon has designed.

Since there's only 1 razor being passed around, please try to get the razor sent out to the next person via priority mail after 7 days of usage so things move along at a decent pace.

**Please spray the complete razor down with alcohol or something similar before shipping it out to the next person and upon receiving it!**
