I've been browsing this thread for the past few days. I have to say, this is a very nice gesture to offer a pass around to try out the razor. My hats off to the vendor.

I can think of no other group or niche market where I've seen both this sort of community involvement from the vendors nor the constant camaraderie among enthusiasts (members).

I'm constantly amazed by us shavers.

Respectfully not in.

It is probably too early to bring this up, but I am going to anyway. During the pass-around, what if all of the reviews are "off the charts positive". What if everyone wants one of these new razors, but cannot justify purchasing due to the price. Now, lets all remember what Matt did in his Rex Ambassador "group buy". Maybe Carbon could offer something similar to this forum audience, and make this product "closer" to affordable for the masses. Everyone wins. Carbon moves their product, increases their exposure and customers get a great product. Just a "premature thought".

It's not the craziest idea. It might help both the maker and consumer. But, we honestly don't know what CarbonShaveCo sales figures were for the opening and subsequently the days after up until now. It could be a sign of good faith to bring the razor more exposure or, sales have not been up to par and a more hands on approach via a forum could potentially give them the boost they need. All speculation of course but, we'll never really know.

A group buy couldn't hurt......

Seeing as I am in Canada, I'll have to experience the shaves, vicariously, through your impressions of the razor. Big Grin
Have fun and I hope you, all, enjoy the shaves.
