Here's a quick few tips/rules for the pass around.  Please try to be mindful of the creator of the razor and everyone on the pass around list.  If you're going to be out of town just before or during your turn, just ask us to bump you down on the list so you can have the proper time to use it and so you also do not hold up others from trying the razor(s) in a timely manner.

As this pass around includes more than 1 razor, let's agree to keep it for 10-14 days before passing it on so people have adequate time to use and judge everything.

Also, please insure the razor for $1,000 just in case it gets lost in the mail..

So had my first shave and started with the C Plate and I’ll make a note I already own a SS 0.75 . The webbed baseplate noticeably lightens up the razor and I really enjoyed the increased maneuverability. I wasn’t going for a BBS but ended up with a nice 2 pass DFS.

As I move through the pass around various baseplates and the Ti I’ll report my thoughts but first impression was a good.

Shaved with the C X baseplate and did a 3 pass shave as I was testing a new Alcohol for my Skin Food Splashes and I wanted a very close shave to see if I get any sting with the new Alcohol. I also normally only do 2 passes nowadays but I wanted to push things a bit again to see if I get any sting. Put a new Polsilver blade in and as far as smoothness goes this razor had ever so slightly more blade feel than the C plate but very little in comparison to other razors I've used. I really like these web baseplates and I think I have to get one for my SS Carbon. I have to say I met Sean at the Maggards Show when he first launched Carbon Shaving's first razor and he's come a long way since then and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. One class act in my opinion. I can't wait to take the Ti for a spin and compare to the SS and I got a feeling I'm going to love it. So I ended up with a really close BBS shave that lasted about 8 hours and my skin felt great.

So last night I had my last shave with the last SS Combo with the aggressive baseplate on it and I did a 2 pass shave using my skin stretching technique to see how close I could get and I ended up with what I call a entry level BBS which lasts about 6 hours before I begin to feel any stubble. The razor preformed great with very little blade feel and I really enjoy the weight difference using the webbed baseplates when compared to my solid one on my personal Carbon 0.75 and this Shave convinced me I need to get one for mine. So I just have to shave with the Titanium one and I’ll post my experience and be ready to pass the package on to the next person on the list.

Going out tomorrow night and I'm going to use the Ti Razor and then this will be the last Shave with the pass around and I'll contact the next person on the list. Kind of coincidental a friend of mine sent me his new Carbon Shaving Ti full Damascus to use for a week or so. I don't want to hold up the pass around any longer. So I'll give a quick review of the Ti and get it out on Monday or Tuesday.

As of today, Frank still has the pass around set. He had a health issue and that caused a little delay in sending it to me, the next person on the list. Frank said that he planned to mail it out to me tomorrow, however, I am going to be traveling for the holidays soon.  Since we are so close to the holidays, I have asked Frank to hold it and send it so that the package arrives to me just after January 1. I certainly don't want it sitting waiting for me while I am out of town.  What do you guys think?  Alternatively, we could skip me and then come back to me after that.

Given timing I wonder if Time Bandit could switch slots with you, since you are both listed in CA, and he is next on the list?
