Can badger hair cause itching?

I may have jumped to conclusions on the cause early on instead of taking my time to figure it out. I think it was related one or a combination of the following 1) a new soap (that may have taken a day to 'incubate' before itching set in), 2) an aftershave that I previously have not had issues with, 3) technique. I no longer have the soap or AS and made a slight change to technique. That said I am giving a badger brush another chance. Should be here in a few weeks.
