the creator of that thread asked us to remove it as Andy made good with the person in question that the thread was about.

Based on the post, it doesn't seem like the other party thinks things were made good. But hey, if this motivates the other party to bring a new razor to market, we all win. Rivalries can be good for competition. Now if the release price can be low as an additional stick-it-to-him, that would be even better ...

Hi Zhang Doe, I'm a bit confused here with "Based on the post, it doesn't seem like the other party thinks things were made good." and then the following sentence. Who are the 'other party' (s?) you are referring too.

I believe he's confused and mixing the removed thread discussion where things were made good eventually with this discussion. 2 different situations.

Oops. You're right. I thought he meant that Paradigm requested removal of this thread because he had made good with Bullgoose. Reading comprehension issues. My bad.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this what the courts are for?
Have the involved party's went to court, or planning on it? Where is DanLaw on this?

The 17-4 razor looks interesting, smoother more efficient.

I am staying out of this thread and frankly would not have even read it but for being notified of having been tagged:

1, am not a party to this transaction

2, have prejudiced opinions both pro and con based on experiences

3, possess insufficient knowledge to make a reasoned comment

4, am disinclined to disparage men’s reputations based on anything but intimate knowledge of details leading a reasonable person to conclude an intentional wrong undertaken

5, prefer to avoid mob actions

6, focus on doing whatever possible to make the world a better place given limits of intellect, education and physicality

7, specifically, a disinclination for meaningless destruction without having an alternative beforehand to repair the damage required to build a better world in its place (be it on a personal or societal level).

Thanks for the reply.

Any chance of the thread being reinstated if the OP agrees to it? I just think people should have access to the background evidence of that post so they can see the whole story of what happened & make a judgement for themselves regarding Paradigm Razors response. It would also show history for issues with Paradigm Razors.

I am the OP of that thread, and I am also the one who asked for it to be taken down. simply due to the fact that; that thread served its purpose and was no longer necessary.

Andy reached out to the customer and a few others, offered refunds and other discounts; and then made a public apology. The intention of that post was never to take Andy down, but to be utilized as more of a forcing function to nudge Andy into doing the right thing.

Frankly, I don’t care whether or not it is reinstated... but, I really don’t see the benefit. I get that you want to illustrate a history of issues with paradigm so that readers can form a more educated opinion...

But tbh, if this is true... and Andy took $10,000 from bullgoose with no intention or effort to pay it back... I don’t think much else needs to be said....That could very well mark the end of Paradigm. Tbh, I’m surprised he wasn’t sued.

It is true, and I agree that he should have been sued.
