Living on the edge
(This post was last modified: 09-22-2021, 12:16 PM by Tester28.)
Don't usually have a problem with someone who sells a product for (far) more than they paid.
Items like rare/discontinued/troublesome to acquire razors, brushes, blades or handles may justify such pricing.

But taking undue advantage of a friendly / unsuspecting member...hmmm....that's very predator-like behaviour,
and an area I would not recommend venturing into, without thinking of the possible fall-out.

Specially if you're going to abuse a member's kindness and deferential pricing, knowing full well in advance what
you are about to do immediately after purchase. The pre-meditated nature of such an action makes it a bit distasteful,
although it's not a red card.

Any one who attempts this may not be out of line with the rules, but would be swiftly tagged and remembered for
future reference.

So the real question is: was the extra $200 worth the loss of reputation?

It's definitely deplorable behavior to say the least. What gets me is the constant need to justify and defend the faux pas from the perpetrator himself.

All essentially for what many would consider a day's pay.

How is paying full asking price of an item taking undue advantage of a member? Predator?….That’s interesting…. Ive never interacted with cowboy on this forum, and have no pony in this race… but from my perspective; paying full asking price is far from predatory. And how is doing what you want with your own property wrong?

Also… I’d like to add… we are all personally responsible
adults here. If someone wants to sell me their home for $1…. please let me know. I’d gladly purchase it and flip it for 400k the next day lol.

This has been explained to you, very eloquently, by several members. You disagree. You are in the minority here. Obviously. But that matters not to you. There is no self reflection.
You continue coming back with the same argument. The fact that you keep asking speak volumes to your character, for me. You can join Cowboy on the "do not deal with list".

But please...keep being intentionally obtuse, maybe you will draw out some more members who can join you on the list.

I'm amazed you're not getting this. What if it were a forum PIF that our friend (or you ) took advantage of then flipped ? That's cool by you too? Because there's no difference in my mind , and while we all may be adults we're clearly all not behaving as respectful members of a community.

LOOT just beat me to the post, I'll just say "ditto".

Oh noooooo! The “do not deal list”!! My life is ruined! That will teach me not to ever disagree or have a friendly debate with anyone on this message board. How very far-left cancel-culture esq of you! Lololol.

Keep politics out of this, as per DFS rules.  Consider this a warning.

Did I mention a political party?

Regulating the prices of goods, telling people what they can can’t can’t sell their own property for is socialism/economics

Suggesting a ban for a member who sold their own property and then threatening another by placing them on a “do not deal list” is CANCEL culture.

If you attribute that to the Democratic Party that’s on you.

If you feel what i said warrants a banning….. that only proves my initial statement was correct.

This shits comical.
