Yes, it would increase the cost of the brush to us, but would it be worthwhile for the maker to print or engrave the knot type, size and loft on the handle. I've already forgotten the numbers on a couple of mine. The type is on a lot of them now, but the size and loft would be useful if trotting out a ruler or micrometer is inconvenient.

I wouldn't want any type of engraving on any of my brushes. I really enjoy the clean/bare look of 98% of my brush handles. Of course, YMMV. Shy

I like what Simpson does on theirs, but to me that is the epitome of a classic look.

I don't much care for branding or stamping anywhere else, although I guess what's on the bottoms doesn't make much difference to me either way.

I tend to agree with both the OP but more so the other opinions here. The brush would be like a cheap bag of chips with the ingrediants listed on the back. Once Beamon and I get a little more experience wet shaving under out belts I suspect we'll become more comfortable with brush details in general. You might try making a photo file with details until then. Happy2

+1. I actually really like that Thater puts their logo on the base, as it creates a very clean look to the brush.
