Hey guys,

Do synthetics require ANY kind of brush care/maintenance like badgers/boars?

And how long do these brushes last? Is there a point where either 3 of the mentioned brushes will come to the end of it's life, where it just STOPS whipping up lather?

Thanks gents.

A good brush of any hair can last for many many years. Synthetic brushes are considered low maintenance because a simple rinse should be all that is needed and they are very fast drying.

Freddy has it right. I'm considering getting a synthetic 24 mm from Larry. I really have been enjoying my Omegas and Semogues as of late. I am really liking the boars. I still have to say though, my New Forest Tubby 1 is a great face latherer. A squeeze, a shake, and a brush across the towel and let dry. Take care of them, and they will take care of you.
