I may have to take a trip to Chicago for work and I know there will be "down" times while I'm there. Are there any Chicago brick-and-mortar wet-shaving stores to visit other than Merz Apothecary? I do plan to visit Merz but was hoping there are other options as well. Thanks!

Merz has two stores. One downtown in a hotel (Palmer House, IIRC) and their Q Brothers store in Lincoln Park.
If you can, the Lincoln Park store is the bigger, and better, location.

There is an Art of Shaving counter in the Macy's (FKA Marshall Fields) alos downtown but it really the same as AoS in many places.
There are no others that I am aware of.

Thanks MaxP! I'm not sure where I will need to be yet but I may leave early or stay late so I can get to Lincoln Park

The Lincoln Park store is nice and large. I stopped in there a few months ago when I was visiting Chicago. I forget the person's name I was speaking to for a bit, but he knows the products well...it'll come back to me, I'm sure!

You may want to check out Merchant & Rhoades at 900 N Michigan. It's the old Truefitt & Hill. One heck of a place. Smile

Thanks everyone! I was in Chicago last week but wasn't able to make it to any of the stores. I had to leave early because Central indiana was going to get lots of snow and I didn't want to drive through it. We ended up with some freezing rain and about 5 or 6 inches of the snow early Saturday morning. But Chicago is only a 3 hour drive and I'm sure i'll be up there again some time this summer
