Awesome!

The one on the far right (black with disco band) is mine!

She's a beauty! Congrats! I hope you don't mind that I posted the pic.

I have a 3 band BS silver tip and it is super soft and no backbone but back an forth painter strokes produces a great lather and probably the softest brush I own.

Those are some nice brushes you are receiving. Brad's craftsmanship is top notch. I'm interested on how his two band knot compares to other knots as well.

It is. Backstory: we ordered 12" of this "lemondrop" rod in early December along with a similar amount of lime. Both were big hits, as some of us know. We immediately re-ordered, but both the lemon and lime (along with a number of other popular rods) were backordered until mid-February. The darn of it was that the first shipment our supplier received was seriously defective and had to be returned to the manufacturer. That led to another month's delay. <Sound of head banging on wall....> But with that said: our supplier was very forthcoming about the ongoing situation, which helped us to be able to communicate with the very patient folks who'd order brushes in these resins. We finally received our shipments early this month and pulled out the stops to fill the backorders as quickly as we could without compromising quality.

At about the same time, we found that we were unable to re-stock our Manchurian knots, but that's another story....

The bottom line is that we're now fully re-stocked with both resins and knots--the quality of which I'll let others discuss. Smile

So that's the story.

Have a great day, Gentlemen!

I'm glad you appreciate our work! We're just starting to ship brushes with our new 2-band Silvertips; but I think they will be well received. The tips are virtually identical to our previous Manchurians in terms of "wet" performance. The difference is that the tips tend to remain soft when dry, as opposed to the hard hooked tips typified by the Manchurian hair. In addition, greater ability to offer different densities--and amount of backbone--than in the past.

What that means is that our face lathering brushes will be both denser and have a bit more backbone than our face latherers. That said: if you want a specific "face feel," the best thing to do is to tell us what you're looking for, then let us do our thing. Tongue

The point is simple: our plan is to keep raising the bar when it comes to truly "hand-made" shaving brushes.

Have a great day, Gentlemen!

I enjoy a dense brush, so that's great to know. You have set the bar pretty high and I'm looking forward to seeing how high it can get. I have a few of your M&F brushes and they are fantastic. (Two more just shipped, actually and I have other orders pending.) Now that you added the Stubby handle and some new colors, I'm sure I'll be ordering more! I've used many brushes (Thater, Shavemac, Simpson, Wiborg, etc..) and I believe you and Ken from Paladin are making the best brushes today.
