For those of you who have had the pleasure of using theses fine knots, how do they compare? I am trying to choose between the Brad Sears 2 or 3 Band Manchurian or the M&F Blonde or Fine.

Do you want a Flying B or a Spirit of Ecstacy on your radiator cap? Brad just emailed his customer committments are close to being filled and will be accepting orders soon.

While Lee's knots are very nice, I prefer Brad's 2-band manchurian.
Oh, and if you order a brush with one of Brad's knots then you'll receive it quicker because he has them in stock. A brush fitted with Lee's knot must have the handle made in Brad's workshop, then mailed (with everyone else's) to the UK for Lee to fit his knots, then returned to the US. Flowing through customs in both directions.
2weeks vs 2months.

I would say the Brad Sears knots will be a safer, more consistent choice. However, if you happen to score one of Lee's really good knots there won't be much else that compares. Even as a repeat customer of Lee's, asking for specific requests on each order, I never know what is going to actually show up.

Does Lee allow you you to choose your loft, or does he determine the loft based on the specific hair quality?

Lee will allow you to request a loft, but I prefer to have him focus on the type of hair used to make the knot then set the knot at a loft that will be optimal for face lathering. I've never been disappointed with the results of this request.
