Okay, that out of the way lol

So, might seem odd to some but over the last few months I have been trying to hunt down COMFORTABLE underwear of some kind. I have gone through a couple different things, and started to wonder;

I can't be the only guy who goes through this, right? Finding that right pair/brand/material that is comfortable to wear all day.

So, I decided to make this thread and see what others have experienced in this area. Share the brands you have tried out with everyone else, maybe ask for some help in picking a brand you haven't tried yet, that sort of thing.

In my own personal search for that perfect pair so far, I have tried almost everything that Wal-Mart had to offer, and, well, meh is about all I can come up with. The one time I found some boxes there that I liked when I went back to buy a new pack they had changed the waist band to something stiffer and more scratchy, if that makes sense? Anyway, didn't like them anymore.

I was starting to wear thin what I did have so I started looking again and went into a West 49 in town and found some NEFF boxer briefs. I'm a big guy so I got 2 pairs of XL, though, they aren't the cheapest out there at almost $20 a pair Dodgy But I needed to try something. I think their sizing runs a bit small, as the XL was tight-ish on me, not uncomfortably so if I'm not doing much, but when I wore them to work they bunched up. So they work for lazy days, I'm wearing a pair right now(don't picture it just move on), and they're comfortable and keep everything in place Smile

But, since I couldn't wear them to work I had to find something else. I was doing X-mas shopping and in one of the outdoor stores in town I found a brand called SAXX. Once again, they aren't cheap, a stupid $50 for pair, at least that's the middle ground range Sick So I bought 2 pair to test, getting myself a X-mas present (remember a time when you didn't like getting underwear for Xmas? Then you start buying it for yourself for Xmas Tongue). Thankfully, while the price is still way too steep IMO for a damn pair of boxer briefs, they are comfortable to wear and keep everything in place Smile I wear them to work all the time, and I sucked it up and ordered from Amazon a few more pairs, enough to keep me through one week of work before I need to do laundry(planning Wink ) Not cheap, not in the least, but worth it? Erm, well, for it is, I can put them on knowing I'll be comfy and they don't make me sweat either they are breathable and the XL is just the right size for me, I think 2XL would be too large.

However, I still hate that much, I only got that many more so I would have SOMETHING to last me until I found something else. Enter, Meundies, a subscription service for underwear, men and women's, that delivers monthly pairs to you. $16 a month for the basic package(haha) and they have a ton of different colours, patterns and styles to pick from. I read some good reviews of their stuff before deciding to give them a try, but the next shipment for the subscriptions goes out on May 14th, so I have a while to wait yet but once they're in, if there is any interest in this thread at the time I'll put up a review of them Smile I'm hoping they're good, cause if they are I can do $16 a month easily enough to have a fresh pair every month.

If you are interested in Meundies, and I only saw this now that I checked their site again to double check my info for this thread, and sign up or make an order, you can use my link to get 20% off and I get credit on the site as well lol http://getcomfy.in/fqXHE

So, that all said, anyone else have anything to add? Any brands that you know of that are good and you want to share? Looking for something to wear and need help finding it? Smile

Boxers: City Boxers in Bangor, Maine. Custom made in a few days, nice selections of fabrics, good quality.

Trunks: Mojo Down Under and Aussie Bum. Both Australian made. Nice choice of fabrics and colors. AussieBum has 50% off sales. SAXX is nice brand and exciting colors, the Australian products are better in some ways including price.

The best ones I've found that I like a lot are called Pair of Thieves available at Target. They only make boxer briefs and are $12 a pair. I thought that was expensive when I started buying them until I realized how comfortable they are. So much better than the cheap boxers I was wearing before! Way worth it. The MeUndies look interesting. I might have to give those a shot sometime.

Forgive me for jumping in. But my middle child (son almost 17 now) is on the autism spectrum, and we went around and around this topic for years. Keep in mind this mamma has also bought more pairs of underwear trying one that he might find comfortable enough to wear again, ive bought plenty of jock-straps and athletic cups for his martial arts class over the years. Hes a black belt now!!!!

Anywho, is it more than just "uncomfortable" slight irritation, bothersome does your skin react to the elastic or fabric used or is it a sensory thing going on. Because how you deal with them are different.
