So the shipment notification already came this a.m... nice tight turnaround.
Lets see if the Swiss postal service does justice to the term "Swiss clockwork efficiency" ?

Well my question is the 1.20 as aggressive as the definition on web-site, or is it a Medium but efficient Razor that is not going to remove you skin with Beard?

Baseplate .67 and 1.20 are now available and they added the .67 with handle. It looks like they are slowly getting back online.

So the Blutt 1.2 made it to home base day befroe yesterday afternoon from the loving arms of the USPS to my arms the same evening.

First impressions were mostly meh, especially after comparing it to Wolfman or the No7 series from Atelier Durdan (it's likely the sleek top cap and base of the Blutt were state-of-the-art a couple of years back, it seems others have also caught up to it since then + the quality of the threading between the head and the handle for the SS material has a clear winner in the Wolfman, followed by the Lambda razors then the Blutt alongside the Karve CB)

The finish is in line with a matt finish so nothing noteworthy there. The packaging is minimal and user-friendly while being environmentally sound.

The shave was with a new Feather in the Razor and Castle Forbes soap. The razor is lightweight at 95gms and easy to use around the face, no nook or turkey corner is safe from its edges. It shaves with barely any blade feel and is a smooth, almost a self-propelled operator, no chance of irritation as it won't let you do any facial damage. The WTG , ATG passes were delightful, especially the ATG was comparable to the Schick injector style smooth in its dexterity and ease. The alcohol-based AS did not register except for a warm sensation on the face post-shave. This razor will shine with a sharp blade in the holder it seems. Protective yet business minded in summary.

The thing is, I could almost convince myself that I am writing the same review as if I was using the Paradigm Ti (which is almost the same price point as the Blutt SS) or the Athena SS or the Durdan No.7 series. The distinguishing factor is hard to isolate in the shave or the finish, so close these razors seem to be as I compare them.

It is a mighty fine razor, especially for some who are either looking for a one-and-done razor or want some Swiss exceptionalism in their collection (like me).
