The first an only time I did, I woke up the next morning looking like this. Never again!

The only soap I bloom is Mystic Waters.
I also use the bloom water for adding to the brush while building and for application to my face prior to lathering for each pass.

I do not bloom. I did it a couple times to see if it made a difference, but saw none that was significantly different. So I decided not to worry about it and just load with damp brush.

Though if one sees benefits then by all means go forth soak/bloom/altercate the soap as ones heart desires.

I bloom all of my soaps except for the softer ones, like the new pure20 dfs soap and some older razorock soaps.

I pretty much scoop and bowl anything that it is in the softer side. Triple milled I never bloom. I used to, but found nothing advantageous or disadvantageous about it.

I bloom my hard soaps & not so hard soaps, I fine it helps lather up quicker & brings the scent out. Andrewjs18, you just had to say it didn't you. You had to mention the pure20 DFS soap & get us all excited Big Grin

well, it is a soft soap in my den that I recently used that I would not bloom. I also recently pulled out the original version of razorock xxx that I almost decided to sell but held off...I also would not bloom this soap since it's pretty soft.
